If you are running more than 1 website on your Magento 2 instance, then you are likely to come across a question regarding your product prices and whether they should be globally the same across all of your websites, or whether you want to maintain different prices.
By default Magento 2 will store product prices as a "Global" value. And if you want to have different prices according to which website the customer is viewing the product in, you will have to change this to be a "Website" value.
You may need to do this if you don't want Magento to convert your price to a different currency, for example if you want to round off the converted value.
You may also want to try to sell the product at different prices depending on your audience, so you may have a cheapversion.com of your store where you want the prices to be different to the premiumversion.com.
Here is a tutorial to show you how to change this in less than 5 minutes. If you have any questions or comments, please leave a comment on this blog or on YouTube and I will do my best to respond.
